Frustration and Admiration

 Frustration:
-----------------
I haven't been quite MSN active lately. Maybe it's because there are things in my mind that I'm going through and sorting them out right now. It's also my obsession in getting starred driving ranks in Mario Kart for the Wii. I'm not that good, but I'm learning quickly in how to bounce people off into magma in the air. Not getting stars as quickly as I want isn't the source of my frustration. Remember D.G. standing for Dumb-Girl? Yeah, I haven't talked nor seen her for roughly 3 months. She started talking to me on MSN last night. It didn't bother me that much at first. We haven't talked for this long so I guess it's fair to do some catching up.

DG: Hey, comment ça va la vie? (Hey, how's life?)
Me: Elle est plate. (It's boring. "plate" means "boring" or "flat")
DG: Ah? La mienne est ronde. (Oh? Mine is round.)

At that time, I hit my forehead onto my head, stick it there for a few seconds, and repeatedly hitting my forehead onto the same spot for a few more times. What kind of answer is this? It's not funny, it's not serious. I tried viewing it being nothing by answering back with my "stupidity side". This "topic" went on for a few minutes. Then, I've determined, through stupid equations in my mind, that her answer was exactly as mine. The next thought crossed my mind: Assuming that I'm the only exception in that specific moment, who on Earth will think about going all around the trouble only to give a few simple words as an answer? The answer was there before the thought even crossed my mind. Then the next topic was even worst. She asked what's new with me. Honestly, lots of things happened during these few months, but there are things that I'm still not ready to reveal to everyone just yet. Instead, I told her about my Mobile Suit Head Security Camera Project just so that she stops saying "There must be something new with you. A few months is a long time!" Is it so hard to believe? I'm a geek, I'm a technical person treating life as 1's and 0's, at least I try to since there are times the values fall within that range in decimal... And after explaining the purpose of my project, she just stabbed me saying it's useless and even if I manage to capture people damaging my property, they won't pay for the damage. You might find it useless, and I'm sure some of you don't actually need one, but I'm doing it due to an increase of cars speeding on my street and neighbour's kids/relatives fooling around that I'm not going to start accusing anyone without proof. In addition, this project requires me to re-visit the realms of electronics, something that I've been hungry for some time since graduation. Power usage, circuit design, software development, and creativity are all in this project. It's a hobby and very useful to me.

As for DG, she's moving to "upstairs" in her house and needs to buy furniture. She also came back from her European trip. Of course she has done lots of things. But the way she put it last night was a blastful of excessive information that I managed to summarize into 4 words while she used 40. I couldn't stand it, I just went offline to play some Mario Kart Wii instead. In that game, I can hit cars and bump them off a bridge or into lava, something that I cannot do in real life. And it was too late for me to head for the gym to let out this frustration. I feel like talking to a kid in elementary school, not a 25 year-old person. Maybe I should treat her as such.

Admiration:
--------------
Thinking about the above made my blood boiled. But watching "Roger Federer's Road to his 15th Grand Slam" soothed my mind and am feeling at peace. If you cannot see the video below, click here.
Enjoy~

HAHA, "ma vie est ronde"! Sérieusement, tu devrais peut-être couper tout contact avec DG...

This explains the difference in the level of intelligence and why she never got any of my punch lines while everyone else laughs...
